About Racey
Racey is a British pop group that developed from the band Phoenix Press, with Richard Gower, Phil Fursdon, Pete Miller and Clive Wilson in its early lineup. Pub performances preceded work with Mickie Most's RAK label. Recordings such as Lay Your Love on Me and Some Girls connected the group's direct pop approach with the Chinn-Chapman songwriting partnership.
