About Eli Young Band
The Eli Young Band grew from the musical partnership of singer Mike Eli and guitarist James Young at the University of North Texas. The group's recordings blend country-pop melodies with a heartland rock sound. Crazy Girl brought wider attention in 2011, and the catalog continued through Drunk Last Night and Love Ain't. Jimmy Buffett later joined the group for a new rendition of Saltwater Gospel, extending its repertoire through a separate collaborative recording.
