About B.T. Express
B.T. Express grew out of Brooklyn's funk scene and the King Davis House Rockers, with producer Jeff Lane helping shape the group. Their name shortened Brooklyn Trucking Express. The album Do It ('Til You're Satisfied) paired its title song with Express, establishing a dance-oriented repertoire that also included Peace Pipe. Keyboardist Michael Jones subsequently developed a separate career as Kashif.
