About Faron Young
Faron Young developed his country career around Shreveport clubs, radio and the Louisiana Hayride before recording for Capitol and moving to Nashville. His repertoire ranged from energetic honky-tonk songs such as Live Fast, Love Hard, Die Young to the more restrained Hello Walls, written by Willie Nelson. A later Mercury period included Wine Me Up and It's Four in the Morning. He also helped establish the country publication Music City News.
