About Das EFX
Das EFX is the rap duo associated with Scoob and Dre, introduced to a broad audience through its relationship with EPMD. The pair developed a vocal approach built around quick syllables, unusual rhymes and references to popular culture. Their 1992 debut, Dead Serious, included They Want EFX. Straight Up Sewaside followed in 1993, continuing the group's album catalog as its rhythmic techniques became recognizable elements of early-1990s hip-hop.
