About Arthur Lyman
Arthur Lyman was a Hawaiian vibraphonist associated with the exotica and lounge styles. He played in Martin Denny's group before beginning a separate recording career in 1957. His own records retained the percussion-rich, tropical setting of that music while often favoring a quieter atmosphere.
