About Alesha Dixon
Alesha Dixon first became widely known through the British group Mis-Teeq before developing a solo singing and television career. Her first solo album, Fired Up, included the singles Lipstick and Knockdown. An appearance on Strictly Come Dancing in 2007 helped introduce her to another audience and preceded further recording and presenting work. Her subsequent studio activity included work with Solange Knowles and Marsha Ambrosius, linking the solo catalog with contemporary R&B collaborators.
