About Ace Cannon
Ace Cannon's saxophone career grew from an early interest in performing with his father in Mississippi. He chose the alto saxophone as a child, then worked as a sideman in Memphis for Sun and Hi Records. Tuff introduced him as an instrumental recording artist in his own right. His later performing work included tours with rock and roll musicians such as Carl Perkins and appearances with Dick Clark's All Star Band, connecting his solo career with the music's early performers.
