About Diamond Rio
Diamond Rio grew out of the Tennessee River Boys, an act developed at Nashville's Opryland theme park. The band paired closely arranged vocal harmonies with detailed instrumental interplay. Its self-titled 1991 debut introduced Meet in the Middle, followed by a country repertoire including Mirror Mirror, Mama Don't Forget to Pray for Me and One More Day. Later recordings explored Christmas music and gospel, including the album The Reason.
