About Ronnie Milsap
Ronnie Milsap is a North Carolina singer and keyboardist whose repertoire connects country with R&B, pop and classical training. Before establishing himself in Nashville, he recorded R&B-influenced material and worked in Memphis, including sessions at American Studio. His partnership with producer Tom Collins helped shape a country career that included Pure Love and It Was Almost Like a Song. Later songs such as Lost in the Fifties Tonight drew directly on earlier vocal-group music, while albums of standards and gospel showed further sides of his singing.
