About Billy J. Kramer & The Dakotas
Billy J. Kramer began in the Merseybeat scene before joining forces with the Manchester group the Dakotas under Brian Epstein's management. Their repertoire included Lennon-McCartney songs such as Bad to Me, I'll Keep You Satisfied and From a Window, alongside Little Children by Mort Shuman and John McFarland. The recordings paired Kramer's singing with a guitar-based group sound. Kramer later pursued solo work after the partnership's main run of 1960s singles.
