About Sum 41
Sum 41 formed in Ajax, Ontario, around high-school friends Deryck Whibley and Steve Jocz. Their music combined singalong pop-punk melodies with the force and technical detail of heavy metal. All Killer No Filler introduced songs such as Fat Lip and In Too Deep, followed by the heavier material of Does This Look Infected? and Chuck. Later albums included 13 Voices and Order in Decline. The double album Heaven :x: Hell organized their pop-punk and metal approaches into two contrasting halves.
