About Cast
Cast is the British guitar band led by John Power, who previously played bass with the La's. Its mid-1990s sound emphasized clear melodies and chiming guitars, with singles including Sandstorm, Walkaway and Flying. The group recorded through Beetroot in 2001 before separating. A reunion led to Troubled Times and further albums, maintaining a connection between the band's early guitar-pop approach and its later studio and concert work.
