About Texas
Texas is the Glasgow group associated with singer Sharleen Spiteri, combining rock, pop, soul and R&B elements. Southside introduced I Don't Want a Lover in 1989. White on Blonde later included Say What You Want, marking a further move toward soul-inflected pop arrangements. The group continued exploring dance and disco textures on other recordings and worked with Wu-Tang Clan, including on the title track of the later album Hi.
