About UGK
UGK, short for Underground Kingz, was the Texas rap partnership of Pimp C and Bun B. The duo signed to Jive for the 1992 album Too Hard to Swallow, then followed it with Super Tight and Ridin' Dirty. Its Southern rap catalog combined detailed street narratives with a strong regional musical identity.
