About Duffy
Duffy is a Welsh soul singer whose debut, Rockferry, introduced songs including Mercy and Warwick Avenue. Strings, brass and production contributions from Bernard Butler helped shape that early recording period. Her second album, Endlessly, appeared in 2010 and developed a different balance of dance-oriented material and spare acoustic arrangements. She worked with songwriter Albert Hammond on the project, with instrumental backing from the Roots extending its studio sound.
