About Conway Twitty
Conway Twitty began as a rockabilly and pop performer before building a long country career. Born Harold Lloyd Jenkins, he adopted a stage name drawn from two American towns. It's Only Make Believe established his early pop identity. Later country recordings included Hello Darlin' and Tight Fittin' Jeans, while his duets with Loretta Lynn became another important part of his catalog. His style continued to absorb elements of rock and soul as his career developed.
