About The Timelords
The Timelords was a novelty recording identity used by Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty, also associated with the KLF. Doctorin' the Tardis combined Doctor Who material with glam-rock rhythms and reached a large audience in 1988. The project also produced The Manual, a book describing the pair's approach to constructing a commercial pop hit.
