About 112
112 formed among high-school friends in Atlanta, with Slim, Mike, Q and Daron developing their singing through church performances and talent shows. Management contacts introduced the group to Sean Combs and Bad Boy Records. Its self-titled 1996 debut included Only You, followed by Room 112 and Part III. The quartet later moved to Def Jam's Def Soul division, continuing a career centered on R&B group vocals.
