About Tommy Roe
Tommy Roe combined singing with songwriting, writing much of the repertoire that established his early recording career. Songs such as Sheila, Dizzy, Everybody and Sweet Pea reached audiences during the 1960s, when his performing work also included a tour with the Beatles. He later formed a music publishing company and continued composing new material, including We Can Make Music and There's a Great Day Coming. His book From Cabbagetown to Tinseltown and Places In Between recounts his career.
