About Lobo
Lobo is the recording name of Florida singer and songwriter Roland Kent LaVoie. He played in several groups before developing a long studio partnership with producer Phil Gernhard. Me and You and a Dog Named Boo established the solo name in 1971, followed by albums including Of a Simple Man and Calumet. I'd Love You to Want Me and Don't Expect Me to Be Your Friend became further parts of his melodic soft-rock repertoire.
