About Billy Swan
Billy Swan grew up in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, listening to country music before discovering rock and roll. He learned drums, piano and guitar and began writing songs while young. His recording career is closely associated with the 1974 rockabilly-styled I Can Help, but songwriting and work behind the scenes also formed part of his musical life. Lover Please was an early songwriting effort.
