About Gavin DeGraw
Gavin DeGraw combines pop and rock songwriting with a strong interest in soul and gospel singing. Raised in upstate New York, he developed material through club and coffeehouse performances before releasing Chariot in 2003. I Don't Want to Be became the theme for One Tree Hill. Later repertoire included Not Over You, written with Ryan Tedder, and the album Something Worth Saving, while a collaboration with Brett Young connected his work with country music.
