About The Deele
The Deele formed in Cincinnati in 1981 and became part of the SOLAR Records catalog. The group included L.A. Reid and later Babyface, whose partnership also developed into songwriting and production for other artists. Street Beat introduced Body Talk in 1983; Material Thangz followed in 1985. Two Occasions belongs to the band's 1987 album Eyes of a Stranger, placing the ballad within a group catalog that preceded the wider success of Reid and Babyface as producers.
