About Ultramagnetic MC's
Ultramagnetic MC's emerged from the Bronx around Kool Keith, Ced Gee, TR Love and DJ Moe Love. Their recordings combined unusual verbal imagery with sharply cut funk samples and inventive rhythm programming. The 1988 debut Critical Beatdown, including Ego Trippin', established the group's distinctive balance of emceeing, production and turntable work.
