About Travis Tritt
Travis Tritt developed his singing in a Marietta, Georgia, church choir and taught himself guitar before working Atlanta-area clubs. His country style draws on Southern rock and honky-tonk, moving between forceful songs and ballads. The Warner Bros. debut Country Club introduced repertoire including Help Me Hold On and I'm Gonna Be Somebody. His later Columbia period included It's a Great Day to Be Alive, alongside separate acoustic and collaborative work.
