About The Shades of Blue
The Shades of Blue developed from the Domingos, a vocal group formed by school friends in Livonia, near Detroit. Influenced by local R&B and Motown records, they performed at dances and talent shows before working with Edwin Starr and producer John Rhys. Their Impact recordings included Oh How Happy and the album Happiness Is the Shades of Blue.
