About Steve Winwood
Steve Winwood emerged as a singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist with the Spencer Davis Group before co-founding Traffic. His work also included Blind Faith, whose repertoire featured Can't Find My Way Home. A later solo career produced albums such as Back in the High Life and Roll with It, with songs including Higher Love and Valerie. Across these settings, Winwood connected rock with R&B, blues and other traditions, moving between collaborative bands and recordings under his own name.
