ARTIST BACKGROUND

About Kane Brown

Kane Brown grew up in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, and developed his singing through school choir and country music. Online videos of cover performances helped introduce him to a wider audience. His early musical references included artists such as Randy Travis, Shania Twain and George Strait. What Ifs paired him with former schoolmate Lauren Alaina, who had encouraged his singing. Their duet remains a named collaboration within his solo recording career, rather than a separate permanent group.
