About The Alan Parsons Project
The Alan Parsons Project was the studio partnership of engineer and producer Alan Parsons with songwriter and musician Eric Woolfson. They released ten concept albums between 1976 and 1987 and recorded much of their work at London's Abbey Road Studios. The project used different singers and musicians for individual songs, giving each recording its own personnel. I Robot illustrates that approach through Lenny Zakatek's vocal on I Wouldn't Want to Be Like You. The project identity is distinct from a fixed touring-band lineup.
