About Toni Basil
Toni Basil is a singer, dancer, choreographer and filmmaker whose career began well before Mickey. Her work included Shindig, the T.A.M.I. Show, Bruce Conner's Breakaway and David Bowie's 1974 tour. The album Word of Mouth and her cheerleader-themed video brought her recording career to a large pop audience in the early 1980s.
