About Alias
Alias united musicians from Sheriff and Heart. Singer Freddy Curci and guitarist Steve DeMarchi continued writing together after Sheriff; in 1988 they joined guitarist Roger Fisher, bassist Steve Fossen and drummer Michael Derosier, all former Heart members. Capitol released the group's self-titled debut in 1990. More Than Words Can Say became the album's best-known power ballad, introducing the combined lineup to listeners beyond the members' earlier bands.
