ARTIST BACKGROUND

About Suzi Quatro

Suzi Quatro developed as a bassist and singer in Detroit's Pleasure Seekers, performing alongside her sister Patti before continuing with Cradle. Producer Mickie Most brought her to England, where work with songwriters Mike Chapman and Nicky Chinn yielded records including Can the Can and 48 Crash. Her leather-clad stage presence became part of glam rock's visual culture. Later work included the Chris Norman duet Stumblin' In and the television role of Leather Tuscadero on Happy Days.
