About Firefall
Firefall brought together musicians with experience in groups including the Flying Burrito Brothers, Spirit, the Byrds and Zephyr. Its sound paired country-rock arrangements with pop melodies and close harmonies. The self-titled album introduced You Are the Woman, followed by Luna Sea and Elan during the late 1970s. Later projects included Messenger, a Beatles tribute and Comet, with founding guitarist and singer Jock Bartley providing continuity through changes in the band.
