About Brooks & Dunn
Brooks & Dunn are the country duo of Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn. Both pursued individual recording and songwriting careers before label executive Tim DuBois brought them together. Their debut album Brand New Man introduced a partnership combining Dunn's expressive singing with Brooks's energetic stage presence. Songs including Neon Moon and Boot Scootin' Boogie connect honky-tonk storytelling with dance-floor appeal, while rock guitar is another element of their sound. Producer Don Cook worked with the duo through much of their 1990s recording career.
