About The Cowsills
The Cowsills developed as a family band in Newport, Rhode Island, with siblings Bill, Bob, Barry and John joined in its recording history by their mother Barbara and siblings Paul and Susan. Their layered vocal harmonies became the group's signature. MGM releases including The Rain, the Park and Other Things, Indian Lake and Hair brought them a broad pop audience. Television appearances, including the Ed Sullivan Show and the Tonight Show, carried the family's music beyond its live performances.
