About Kings of Leon
Kings of Leon developed in Nashville around the Followill family: brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared and their cousin Matthew. The brothers' early musical experience included traveling and playing in churches with their parents. An RCA contract led to a 2003 debut and a sound combining Southern-rock traditions with a contemporary band approach. British audiences responded early, while Only by the Night broadened the group's American audience and international concert profile.
