About James Blunt
James Blunt developed his singing and songwriting career after service in the British Army. Back to Bedlam, released in 2004, introduced You're Beautiful and established his soft vocal delivery within contemporary pop. He continued exploring different arrangements across later records, including The Afterlove, made with contributions from Ed Sheeran. Once Upon a Mind followed in 2019, extending an album catalog that moved between acoustic songwriting and more pop-oriented production.
