About Weezer
Weezer formed in Los Angeles in 1992 around singer and guitarist Rivers Cuomo. Ric Ocasek produced their 1994 self-titled album, whose songs included 'Buddy Holly' and whose videos reached MTV audiences. The band produced 1996's Pinkerton themselves, then reunited with Ocasek for another self-titled record in 2001. Later albums included Maladroit and the Rick Rubin-produced Make Believe, extending the band's recording history across different production partnerships.
