It's a Man's World - original UK album
The original 14-track UK program is dated 1995 and identifies Walking in Memphis and the approximately five-minute One by One. This is the original UK album presentation rather than a later US or club edition. | Reviewed 2026-10-18

Rhino - original 1995 UK album and separately named remixes
The label explicitly dates the original UK album to 1995, lists its 14 tracks, and separates it from the new 2023 package's named remix disc. One by One's JF Vasquez, JR's Pride and Melle Mel editions are distinct from the chosen original UK album production. Promotional totals and inconsistent 2023 packaging dates are not used. | Reviewed 2026-10-18

ARTIST BACKGROUND

About Cher

Cher emerged in the 1960s alongside Sonny Bono before developing a solo recording career across folk-pop, rock, disco and electronic dance music. Her contralto voice links otherwise different records, from Gypsys, Tramps & Thieves to If I Could Turn Back Time and Believe. Singing has remained one part of a wider performance career that also includes film, television and elaborate concert presentation.
