Release evidence and recording details

First released: 2004 (year verified)

The original 2004 single program identifies the Spike Mix separately from the earlier 2003 vocal title. Its later insertion into Elephunk does not move this recording back to 2003.

Annual version match under review

The selected recording has release evidence, but its version has not been matched to the retained annual entry. It is omitted from Beyond the yearly lists until this match is resolved.

The actual retained annual candidate has no edition metadata. The selection specifies the original album presentation or named Spike Mix; the original single/album programs do not establish that the annual row represents that precise edition. Preserve the real candidate provisionally without inferring a different performance from duration alone.

ARTIST BACKGROUND

About The Black Eyed Peas

The Black Eyed Peas developed around will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo, with early albums built on loose hip-hop grooves and shared vocal exchanges. Fergie joined for the Elephunk era, broadening the group's sung hooks and pop arrangements. The E.N.D. and The Beginning emphasized electronic dance rhythms. Later projects such as Translation and Elevation continued under the group name with multilingual collaborations, while the members' separate solo recordings remain distinct parts of their careers.
