About Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift began her professional recording career as a teenager in Nashville, writing or co-writing the songs on her 2006 debut album. Fearless and Speak Now developed that country-rooted catalog, while Red and 1989 moved more strongly into pop production. In 2020, folklore and evermore explored folk-associated textures through collaborations including Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff. These shifts describe different musical periods within her solo career, with songwriting remaining a consistent part of her work.
