About The Beatles
The Beatles were the Liverpool group of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Their early music drew on rock and roll, pop harmonies and R&B, and their growing emphasis on original songs helped shape their identity during the 1960s. As their recording career developed, they expanded the possibilities of studio arrangement and production. The group's recordings form a shared catalog, separate from the four musicians' later solo albums and other collaborations.
