About Olivia Rodrigo
Olivia Rodrigo combined acting and music before the release of her debut album, SOUR, in 2021. Her early work included High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Working with producer and collaborator Dan Nigro, she brought intimate ballads and forceful guitar-based pop into the same album. GUTS followed in 2023 with the singles vampire and bad idea right? alongside a wider range of album performances. The contrast between quieter vocal writing and louder, rhythmically direct songs is central to these first two records.
