Praise & Blame - main studio performance versus bonus version

The artist's advance-single announcement establishes public release before the album within 2010. | Reviewed 2026-10-18

Praise & Blame - official advance Burning Hell release announcement
The artist's May 2010 announcement identifies Burning Hell with What Good Am I? as a June advance seven-inch release before the July album. The original release year is therefore 2010; an exact worldwide first day is not inferred from one announced edition. | Reviewed 2026-10-18

ARTIST BACKGROUND

About Tom Jones

Tom Jones grew up in Pontypridd, South Wales, and sang in clubs before signing with Decca. His early records placed a powerful voice within compact pop arrangements, while his repertoire continued to draw on rhythm and blues and country music. Reload later brought that voice into explicitly credited collaborations with other performers. His work with Ethan Johns moved toward more exposed studio arrangements, including the live-in-studio performances of Praise & Blame and the varied songwriting repertoire of Spirit in the Room.
