Release evidence and recording details
First released: 1995 (year verified)
Sony's group history and the original Epic ESDA-7161 product entry establish the 1995 Japanese vocal single and full collaboration credit. The later Live a Paris bonus is explicitly studio; its 1996 album date and a corrupted 1993 anthology field are not first release.

Sony Music - Kryzler & Kompany original collaboration history
The trio's label profile explicitly places its To Love You More collaboration with Celine Dion in 1995 and identifies Taro Hakase among its members. This supports the original Japanese collaboration identity; chart achievement is not equated with release date. | Reviewed 2026-10-18
Sony Music Japan - full To Love You More credit
The label prints the original credited act as Celine Dion with Kryzler & Kompany and corroborates the 1995 release cycle. Its chart dates are contextual corroboration only, not the song's assigned release date. | Reviewed 2026-10-18
Oricon original product catalog - Epic ESDA-7161
The original Japanese single product entry identifies Epic Records Japan ESDA-7161, the full Celine Dion with Kryzler & Kompany credit, a 1995 release date, and separate vocal and instrumental tracks. Together with the direct Sony history it supports year-only 1995 for the original vocal single. | Reviewed 2026-10-18
Celine Dion - studio bonus distinguished from Live a Paris concert
The artist explicitly identifies To Love You More as a studio recording appended to the 1996 live album. The album's concert-session and 1996 publication dates do not replace the original 1995 Japanese single release. | Reviewed 2026-10-18

About Celine Dion
Celine Dion grew up in a musical family in Charlemagne, Quebec, and began recording in French before developing an English-language career. Unison marked that transition in 1990. Her repertoire includes film songs such as Beauty and the Beast and My Heart Will Go On, alongside the French-language album D'eux, made with Jean-Jacques Goldman. Albums including Falling into You and Let's Talk About Love extended her international recording work. The stage production A New Day... brought her concert career into a long Las Vegas residency.
