ARTIST BACKGROUND

About Bryan Adams

Bryan Adams developed his early career in the Vancouver group Sweeney Todd before establishing a long songwriting partnership with Jim Vallance. A&M released his solo debut in 1980, followed by the breakthrough albums Cuts Like a Knife and Reckless. His later work with producer Mutt Lange included Waking Up the Neighbours. Alongside recording and touring, Adams built a second career in photography. His original solo albums remain distinct from his group recordings, collaborations and later rerecorded versions.

About this artist collection

Uses the existing Bryan Adams solo identity. Sweeney Todd recordings, named duet and trio credits, concert versions, and the later Classic rerecordings remain separate.

First released means the earliest documented official public release of the selected recording. A year-only date does not assert a month or day. Later singles, chart years, compilations, remasters and reissues do not replace that date.
