Zach Top began performing in a family bluegrass band in Washington State and later worked with groups including North Country and Modern Tradition. His solo country approach draws on the traditional singing and arrangements associated with George Strait, Keith Whitley and Randy Travis. After relocating to Nashville, he developed songwriting connections through Major Bob Music and collaborator Carson Chamberlain. His recorded repertoire combines acoustic guitar with fiddle, steel guitar and a full rhythm section in a honky-tonk setting.
