Eagles formed in Los Angeles in 1971 after Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner had worked together in Linda Ronstadt's band. Their early country-rock recordings placed particular emphasis on the blend of voices. Don Felder, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit joined during later changes in the lineup. Following the original studio run of the 1970s, the band reunited for Hell Freezes Over in 1994 and released the studio album Long Road Out of Eden in 2007.
