About The Hondells
The Hondells name was used for Los Angeles studio recordings overseen by producer Gary Usher, with changing session musicians rather than one fixed recording lineup. Little Honda brought the project to a broad audience, and a performing group was assembled for appearances. Usher and Roger Christian supplied much of the early hot-rod repertoire. Later production passed to Mike Curb, and the catalog also included a version of Younger Girl.
